Proponent of shiny new web toys, hawker of promotional plans, Alisa works with her two poodle mixes, Pepe and Spike (“Spi-kay”), who have her very well trained (eat your heart out, Dog Whisperer). Recently relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina, she looks forward to carving out some time for body surfing at Wrightsville Beach!

A childhood love affair with a Texas Instruments TI-99 in 1983 put her on the path that would lead to a career in website development by 2000. She started with social media marketing in 2010 and inbound, or “give to get” marketing in 2011.

A giant (no pun intended, but she IS 6′ tall) fan of public radio (the sweet strains of Carl Kassell makes for the background music of many a great Scalable idea), she really HATES sales, but loves helping businesses pinpoint their business goals and build a path to reaching them. This Summer she started organizing the Social Media Club in Wilmington and speaking on the subject of Pinterest to local business owners.

A sense of humor and the good company of her furry friends has always helped Abby through life’s ups and downs.  You’ll be surprised at how much fun it can actually be to read about bugs when Abby is on the case! When she’s not blogging for Scalable you might find her behind a camera or hiking in Europe.

Tina is also our resident Pinterest specialist. She has a real knack for making things happen. Check out a Pinterest account that she manages. This business, a pharmacy (!?!) went from 0 to 1,000 followers in less than six months. It’s become a leading source of website traffic for them as well.

Lisa discovered a passion for reading and language in elementary school, and has not taken her nose out of the books since! For the past seven years she has worked as a standardized test tutor, helping students maximize their scores on exams such as the SAT and GRE, and has contributed to a number of books in the field. While her college education has been in physics, she has never forgotten her love of the finely crafted sentence, and can frequently be found immersed in a novel or tapping away on her computer keyboard as she writes her latest blog posting.

When Lisa is not reading, writing, editing or teaching, she enjoys traveling. So far, she has visited nine countries, and is looking forward to traveling to more! She dreams of someday living in Europe.

She loves to cook for a crowd, photograph people, get lost in the pages of Russian literature, and firmly believes that if she tries hard enough, she can do just about anything.  She has been to the top of the Eiffel Tower and can bake the perfect pie crust, but she still hasn’t learned to swim.
