The most precious commodity of any small business owner is time. While social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest have done wonders for exposure, brand awareness, and traffic; they also require massive amounts of time to maintain. Viraltag is a new site that can make a considerable difference in the time spent managing your Pinterest account.
What is Viraltag?
Why You Need Viraltag
For many small business owners, it can be a challenge to pin regularly. It’s easy to upload 20 pins at once because we suddenly found a window of opportunity to sit down in front of a computer for an hour. Unfortunately, barraging potential clients with an onslaught of pins in a short period of time will more than likely leave them feeling overwhelmed, and possibly a little annoyed. Research shows a more effective approach is a few pins, uploaded at strategic times, on a daily basis, will produce greater results.
Creating a Viraltag account is quite simple. In fact, since you already have a Pinterest account, you will have the option of logging in with the same user id and password used to access your Pinterest account.
The program will request that you drag the bookmarklet to your toolbar. This bookmarklet will be your new best friend. It allows you to pin from any website, even your blog or personal site. Once you have added the Viraltag bookmarklet to your toolbar, it will act in lieu of your “pin it” button. That was simple – you’re now ready to start scheduling your pins.
Once you have completed the above mentioned steps, a new screen will load populating your most recent uploads. It will also now give you an option to “upload images from your computer.” Choose the images you would like to schedule.
Now you will want to select times that will be the most effective in reaching your audience. Though this will vary from business to business, studies show the most popular times to be on Pinterest are early morning, late at night and Saturday mornings.
Next, add a description that includes keywords to aid other pinners in finding your pin. Add a url that will link the image to your website or blog. Is your pin an image of a product your company sells? Add the url to the site where the customer can make their purchase and include the price, but just entering a dollar sign and amount. Repeat these steps for as many pins as you have to schedule, then sit back and let Viraltag do the work for you.
